About Us
Carolynn Estates is one of the oldest communities on Cedar Creek Lake. Cedar Creek is the fourth largest lake in Texas and is 32,623 acres, 18 miles long and offers 320 miles of scenic shoreline. The widest point of the lake is 8.5 miles and the deepest is 53 feet. It was created in 1964 as a water reservoir for Tarrant County and is one of the very few lakes in Northeast Texas that allows property ownership of waterfront lots to have your own private boathouse on the water. It’s a great location for weekenders to retreat from the city and a top-rated retirement location.
Carolynn Estates is an unincorporated, gated community and nature preserve. We are managed by a volunteer Property Owners Association. We have Restrictions and By Laws that govern our community helping to preserve our value. We’re a balanced mix of full-time residents and weekenders. Our location on the southeast side of the lake is superb. We’re just north of the Pinnacle Club, where the annual 4th of July Thunder Over Cedar Creek Lake air show and fireworks display takes place. We also have wonderful residents that have professional size fireworks shows during the celebrations. It’s truly an event to witness!
Within reach of our community are the towns of Kemp, Mabank, Gun Barrel City, Payne Springs, Enchanted Oaks, Eustace, Caney City, Malakoff, Star Harbor, Trinidad, Tool and Seven Points. Nearby, Pinnacle Club also offers club memberships and activities such as golf, tennis and dining.
